Wednesday Wishes + Cover Coveting

Okay I've been enjoying watching Still Star-Crossed. It's been so hard to know when it airs that I've just been catching it on Roku when an episode hits. So now I've found out that they've dumped it and at least—thankfully—they will have a full season 1. However, didn't it ever occur that maybe because they made it so hard to know when it was airing that people had a hard time watching? Sighs. Feels like any of the summer shows they try are dumped before episode 3.

Moving on to books. I decided to use my WW header because I haven't used it in ages! However, the cover has been dropped.

Oh, and the book? It's a merging of AWESOME SAUCE authors. Gaze upon it.

Quick somebody stop that man! He's taking a crap on the cover.
I guess shirtless man covers just hit the fan! (I know, I know. Let me have it anyway.)

Which is exactly what I put on my GR review for now. ^_- It's been a while since I've tried an MC book. This one had good ratings and I thought the cover was hilarious.

Does anyone else thing M.A.S.H. when they see Hot Lips?

This is one of them and until I found the cover for the second book I had totally forgotten about it. Which is sad because it sounds like a genre mashup of epic proportions.

For this post I found my self watching Swiss Army Man. Well it's different. I think the writers thought it was profound, but miserably failed the mark. Standing ovation to Daniel Radcliff though!

Some Cover Coveting posts ago I know I did the cover reveal for this one, but the synopsis either wasn't there or I didn't notice. Probably I didn't notice it.

So I got curious and looked it up. It sounds fun! Definitely a more forward romance title. It always fascinates me how the paranormal genres seem to have such close ties to tattoos.

I also find it very funny that the lead is a Succubus. Like Galenorn's characters need any more of an excuse to be super sexualized! I wonder what she'll be like . . .

If you guys have, or haven't, noticed I've been playing around with the idea of changing my "Sexual Content" section on my reviews to "Content Warning". As I sometimes tack on additional things of note besides sexual content. Such as cannibalism, mass murder and such.

So someone told me "Content Warning" is harsh. Though I have a feeling they would have been okay if I had put "homosexual themes" under "Sexual Content" like a normally do. (Cause I haven't gotten one complaint about that.)

"Content Warning" just seems logical to me and fitting. Because sometimes all I can put for "Sexual Content" is "clean" and then I need a spot to put "someone got their head gruesomely chopped off". Or something. 

So you might see "Sexual Content" and "Content Warning" duking it out. Or something totally different. We'll see.

Random thoughts, let's see what book I'm wishing for this week.

So imagine my surprise when after this post I actually found a copy of this book at my local thrift store! It was meant to be.

So I thought and thought about what other titles I really wanted from the sci-fi genre. Shades of Treason immediately popped into my mind. It's one I keep thinking about, but just haven't bought yet.

Well I finished Allegiance of Honor by Nalini Singh. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. Upon finishing it my mind wonders as it is won't to do in the aftermath of a fabulous read.

Of course I want that fix again! So this week's Wednesday Wishes is dedicated to the next book I could think of that will come out (this year) that will give me that high for sure!
